I have noticed as I age that my recovery time takes longer.  For instance, I went for a Bike ride a few days ago and I was a heck of a lot sorer than I used to get. Drinking plenty of water helps you to flush out and recover faster.  I have been using Cryoderm on my sore muscles. It helps with inflammation. It works the best on my sore muscles, better than any other anti-inflammatory cream/salve I have used.
